Current Call For Submissions

We are taking submissions for novels, novellas, and short stories for individual publication.
We are ONLY accepting submissions for e-book publication, not for print.
We will announce when our print division is open.

Anthology

Circle Dark Publishing is currently accepting submissions for our dark side fairy tales anthology.

This anthology is to be darker in nature than most fairy-tale themed anthologies. All stories must be based on or inspired by more original source material than Disney movies. Grimm Brothers, Hans Christian Anderson, etc. are acceptable source material.

Stories may NOT be based on or inspired by any of the more common fairy-tales. Only more obscure tales are acceptable. Banned tales include: Cinderella, Snow White (but not Snow White and Rose Red), Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc. Basically, if it's been made into a Disney movie, we don't want to see a story based on it.

We are particularly interested in stories told from the point of view of the villain.

All stories must fit our submissions guidelines.

The deadline for submissions is August 31, 2008. This date is subject to change as the need arises.
